UOW consolidates top 2% spot in QS world
rankings
The University of Wollongong has
cemented its top 2% overall ranking in
the QS World University Rankings,
including a top 1 per cent spot for the
‘employer reputation’ of graduates.
UOW was ranked 264
(269 in 2011) – which included a ranking
of 92 in the world (or a top 1% spot)
and 8th in Australia for how the
University’s graduates are rated by
their employers.

IMPORTANCE OF INTERNSHIP

We often receive resumes which have only
the applicant's basic information minus the work experience
especially from fresh graduates. When questioned why. they
will say that they have just gradauted and have no work
experience yet. But Some graduates have gone through
intership or industrial training during their studies but
they often do not think of it as working experience becuase
to them it is not a full time job. How wrong they are!!!
